Associate Director, Paid Search (80% remote) - Silverlight Digital

We are hiring an Associate Director who will be an integral part of the Silverlight Digital team. We are an independent, well-rounded, energetic group that works at agile speed by avoiding large-agency layers. We work in a team environment and put our clients’ success first. Responsibilities include:

• Strategize, build, and oversee the optimizations of SEM accounts of our clients, while managing a few yourself (hands-on-keyboard) 

• Oversee SEM for tracking, analyzing, and reporting on SEM campaigns, as well as creating and testing ad copy and keywords 

• Help shape our clients’ SEM landscape by leading their strategy development and media objectives 

• Create and present innovative, business media recommendations collaboratively 

• Provide solutions to clients by utilizing Silverlight Digital’s resources and understanding the multichannel media model 

• Contribute to agency revenue growth through existing account opportunities, as well as new business 

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with our Google Partner team 

• Stay up to date on new paid search opportunities to bring to clients, ensuring that Silverlight Digital is a leader in the space and our clients enjoy the newest technology 

• Upsell and cross-sell Silverlight Digital’s wide array of services and offerings 

• Work with clients and the media planning team to create and implement a strong overarching media strategy 

• Evangelize the agency through speaking engagements, creation of case studies and thought leadership

• Manage search specialists 

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of SEM experience within an agency or in-house environment (and still loves the minutiae of Paid Search) 

• Keen understanding of the evolving digital landscape 

• Strong analytical mindset- fluent in performance KPIs and passionate about data analysis 

• Supervisory experience, training and working with junior team members 

• Understand how SEM, SEO, and paid social media fits into the overall marketing mix 

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills as well as presentation skills 

• MS Office proficiency, particularly Excel and PowerPoint 

• Works well in a team environment and must be comfortable in a client-facing role 

• Pharmaceutical experience is strongly preferred but not mandatory 

• Ability to use syndicated research to guide strategic thinking 

• Exceptional strategic leadership abilities and analytical skills 

• Ability to form and build client relationships
