Utah’s five-star, most imitated, outre and accountable provider for individuals with
intellectual disabilities
What we need:
an associate director who acts like an accountable adult, who can supervise other
accountable adults
Pay:
50-55k per year
$1,000 signing bonus
Who we need:
somebody who cares about people with developmental disabilities; someone who is
dependable, accountable, cooperative, proactive, and humble... and someone who will
commit two-years to this role
Who we don’t need:
victims, blamers, excuse makers,cancelists, histrionics, those who suffer from “ua useless”
disorder (unaccountable, ultra-sensitive, entitled, lots of excuses, sausagey-sluggish,
subjective)
Characteristics/skills we prefer:
RAILROAD... resourceful, authentic/accountable, irreproachable, leader/learner,
relatable, organized, adaptable detail-oriented, and have some degree of familiarity
with the human services, social work or those with developmental disabilities
job requirements:
someone with a “we” and a let’s work on this issue versus someone who has
a “they” paradigm
willing to receive feedback from supervisors and others
handle all aspects and tasks related to their respective group homes
proactively manage, direct, develop, and support their direct reports
able/willing to work more than 45+ hours per week, if needs be
find solutions to issues/dramas/conundrums that inevitably arise
concise, responsive, and professional communicator
ever-cognizant of fostering goodwill and positive regard for Red head
supports in all interactions
Qualifications:
bachelor’s degree in whatever (or a good story why you don’t have one),
five to twenty years experience in a professional (or unprofessional)
environment,
5 years of existential pondering, a broken heart, and a contrite spirit.
