Associate Director, Technical Services - Brooklyn Hospital Center

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the Associate Director, Technical Services is responsible for setting solution strategies, engineering design, implementation and operationalizing best practices, around the Hospital’s Network Systems technology platforms.

Provides supervision, engineering, operational support and problem resolution for systems or an environment required to support a large, complex institutional Information Technology system, a segment of that system or a process. Assist Managers and Directors in completing projects and maintaining environments.




* Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration or Computer Science and/or other related fields.
* Six (6) or more years of Information Technology leadership with responsibility to key Information Technology projects within a large, enterprise level corporate environment.
* Experience with All Flash FAS which is Enterprise-class scale-out all-flash storage for both SAN and NAS
* In-depth knowledge of VMware network architecture. (VCP6 Certified.).
* Very strong experience in software defined networking. (CCNA Preferred)
* Working knowledge of Cisco Nexus equipment
* In-depth knowledge of Citrix Virtualization environment
* Strong knowledge of Layer 3 and 2, with knowledge of IP protocols, firewalls, load balances, routers, switches, and IDS / IPS.
