The Associate Director for US Commercialization FP&A will be responsible for supporting the reporting & consolidation of all financial information for the US Commercialization organization. This position will be the key finance partner of all the US HQ Commercial Departments, as well as partnering significantly across the broader finance and matrix organizations. The Associate Director will help shape and simplify future USFA reporting capabilities and ensure high standards of integrity and stewardship of financials.
Scope of the role
This position will help drive the financial processes and activities for the US Commercialization organization and provide support to the US Finance Commercialization leadership team through:
- Assisting in leading the FP&A activities and driving the calendar for the US Commercialization organization.
- Provide financial analysis and guidance on business activities, targets and business drivers.
- Initiate new ideas to improve the quality, efficiency and analytics of US financial reporting.
- Monitoring of business performance for US Commercialization. Challenging results and developing recommendations to improve financial performance. Identification and communication of financial risks and opportunities.
- Ability to effectively interact with internal stakeholders at different management levels in the organization.
- Establishing a high level of credibility and managing strong working relationships with business partners and functions (Marketing, Medical, Regulatory, Compliance)
- Strong stewardship of financial operations and reporting with the highest level of integrity.
Key Responsibilities
·Provide business partnering, financial support and stewardship for US Commercialization.
oPartner with HQ department leaders to help them deliver on their OpEx and headcount budgets.
oCollaborate and continue to drive finance transformation and optimize USHQ reporting processes with our Hyderabad colleagues
oCollaborate extensively across the matrix Brand Finance, Corporate FP&A, Total Commercial, Corporate Financial Reporting, Investor Relations, and Internal Audit
oAlign closely with Procurement to coordinate, track, analyze, and identify areas of synergy within the US Commercialization organization
oTake on other ad-hoc roles involving stakeholder alignment on Opex management as required
·Consolidate and analyze all financial information including actuals, budgets, projections, monthly/quarterly closes and manage ad-hoc requests for the US Commercialization organization
oCreate presentation material and ad-hoc analysis in support of VP Finance and GM, US Commercialization for various planning cycles and closes
- Communicate the overall financial reporting calendar to Brand Finance teams and ensure due dates are adhered to and deliverables are reviewed and analyzed
- Present sales and p&l results to various stakeholders (Comm HQ, CFP&A, IR, Tax) to provide insights and future trends
oReview and help provide insights on price volume analysis for quarterly and sequential sales performance
- Oversee headcount and vacancy trends for the entire US Commercialization organization
- Analyze weekly sales reports and commentary for distribution to senior management
- Review and enhance various analytics to help provide transparency and insights for US business and teams

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting with MBA/CPA preferred
- 7-10 years of financial and/or accounting experience exhibiting increasing levels of responsibility
- Mastery of financial analysis, modeling, Budget/Projection cycles, P&L, strategic partnering, sufficient to train & develop others
- Independently manage and prioritize tasks and activities; foresee potential future issues and proactively attempts to resolve them.
- High level of proficiency in MS Excel and Powerpoint
- Experience with SAP-Analysis for Office and Hyperion is required, and familiarity with Workday and MS teams is desirable
- Basic understanding of pharmaceutical commercialization dynamics
- Understanding of operational business strategies and issues
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment often with aggressive deadlines and quick turnarounds
