Odyssey Technical Solutions is a state of the art Repair Facility located in Round Rock, Texas that specializes in the repair of RF Generators, AutoMatch Networks, DC Power Supplies, Remote Plasma Systems, and Microwave Generators/Power Supplies. We moved into our new Round Rock Headquarters July 2016 and celebrated our 24th anniversary in August 2024.
Ideal candidates:
Pursuing an education in electronics related disciplines. Ready to learn repair techniques on electronic assemblies/subassemblies in a shop environment involving Matching Networks, RF Generators and DC Power Supplies • Demonstrates basic analytical skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as, presentation skills • Effective interpersonal skills • Effective multitask skills and ability to take on additional responsibilities as required • Effective organization and prioritization skills • Demonstrates high attention to detail • Demonstrates discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism when representing the company • Works with diverse groups • Participates in a continuous improvement activity • Can learn to use a multi meter, power supply, and oscilloscope • Becomes proficient in repair techniques on electronic assemblies/subassemblies in a shop environment involving Printed Circuit Boards (PCB’s) • Demonstrates problem solving skills and the ability to develop basic creative solutions • Acquire an understanding of Test Measurement and Repair Techniques • Ability to troubleshoot a complex system including the software and hardware. Candidates may be tasked with other duties within the company including assembly, parts room and warehouse areas.
Job Description:
Assist technicians with test and repair of electronic assemblies to the component level; utilizing block diagrams and schematics • Become proficient in test equipment maintenance and upkeep • Aids senior technicians in troubleshooting problems as able. • Communicates problems to proper Technician, WIP Lead, Engineering Tech and/or Supervisor. • Develop skills and knowledge with testing and calibration of units. • Complies with quality assurance policies and methodologies; develops and strong quality orientation; consistently produces high quality work • Maintains a clean/safe, work environment and follows all published/posted safety standards (daily use of ESD and safety protective devices: eye protection, wrist straps, etc.). • learns to repair high complexity assemblies to component level •
Qualifications / Education / Experience:
Currently enrolled in an approved electronics training program and can demonstrate knowledge of basic AC/DC theory.
