Purpose
Our Business Technology Solutions (BTS) team shapes the digital transformation accelerating AbbVie’s mission to positively impact patients lives. In the role of Associate Engineer, Technology II, you will develop and hone your business-tech skills within a diverse, global organization that invests in your customized career development and creates solutions to advance the future of medicine.
We are seeking an GenAI DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be experience in DevOps, Python development and have experience in container technologies. You will play a pivotal role in developing and deploying GenAI solutions on both Azure, AWS, and private cloud.
Responsibilities
- Provide GenAI support and delivery using DevOps, containers, API access across our business groups.
- Develop and execute the overall GenAI and DevOps process from a delivery and operational perspective.
- Support and deploy GenAI solution on cloud platforms, specifically Azure, AWS and on private cloud.
- Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor, optimize and troubleshoot production systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to support GenAI going into production environments.
- Promote best practices in GenAI and DevOps through knowledge sharing and training programs.
Tools and skills you will use in this role:
- Using CI/CD pipeline for deploying code releases.
- Performing Python development and troubleshooting code
- Using containerization and orchestration tools for hosting
- Troubleshoot Python code to ensure optimal operational health.
Required
- Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years’ experience or Masters degree
- Using DevOps as a methodology to manage code, deploy and test.
- Collaborating with Operational teams.
- Using cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and infrastructure as code
- Using skills in documentation and automating processes
