Associate Experience ManagerPosition Overview
The Associate Experience Manager will enhance the experience of Shaw’s associates through Total Rewards. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining wellness initiatives and events with various business partners and third-party vendors.
Primary responsibilities will include managing high-profile projects with wellness programs, Shaw Health clinic benefits, Shaw Dental clinic benefits, and ancillary benefits regarding associate experience at Shaw and aligning with The Shaw Way. This will include researching, developing recommendations, preparing proposals, implementing approved solutions, developing measurements for success, and completing follow-up, as appropriate. In addition to high profile projects, this role will also be responsible for wellness initiatives education via event support for business partners and HR Operations. Responsibilities include assisting with wellness event content development and the coordination of vendor attendance.
The ability to understand requests, organize information, develop timelines, keep projects moving, pay attention to detail and communicate effectively are all imperative to the success of this role. The ideal candidate must balance being task-oriented while also thinking strategically. S/he should be a quick learner to properly assess situations, programs, etc. and make the appropriate decisions for next steps/actions.
POSITION RESPONSIBILTIES:
Partner with the Sr. Associate Experience Manager to develop and execute new wellness initiatives and other benefits programs as part of Shaw’s Total Rewards strategy.
Manage multiple projects concurrently and initiate, implement, and monitor changes while providing regular project updates.
Develop and maintain relationships with third-party vendors and internal business partners including the Health & Wellness team, Medical Services, Risk Management, HR Operations and our Shaw Associates.
Partner with vendors on strategy and implementation of wellness initiatives to increase growth of existing programs and to develop new programs, as needed.
Manage vendor relationships to ensure satisfactory performance is achieved and performance measures are met and/or exceeded.
Partner with Corporate Communications to develop and execute the communication strategy for the wellness initiatives.
Develop wellness event content and assist business partners with securing vendor attendance, as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFIACTIONS:
Four-year degree or equivalent experience
Limited travel necessary (likely two to four times annually)
Self-starter with the ability to operate independently with little supervision.
Exhibits proper time management of assignments and responsibilities, including being organized and task oriented.
Demonstrated ability to make decisions showing good judgment, proclivity to ask for and listen to team feedback, and propensity to act.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with an ability to work in a team-oriented environment including coaching and developing others.
Effective oral and written communication skills including preparing for and leading team meetings, professional and informative responses to customers and vendors, and creating communication pieces to promote health and wellness initiative and programs.
Experience with project management systems (Smartsheets or similar) considered a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Docs, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.)

LOCATION REQUIREMENTS: This position is a hybrid role that will require the associate to be in the office (Dalton, GA) at least 1 day a week.
