Associate Financial Analyst - BISSELL Homecare

The Associate Financial Analyst – Commercial Division reports directly to the Finance Director – Commercial Division and partners closely with members of the sales & marketing teams for all commercial division entities to provide detailed analysis, insights, and reporting.  This position also frequently interacts and partners with other members of the FP&A team.

• Prepares analysis with limited direction from manager and external customers
• Assists in evaluating new product/venture financial viability
• Provides explanation and input regarding results
• Determine calculations and update templates for business planning activities
• Support management reporting and accounting activities, including data validation, report creation
• Researches issues and problems as assigned
• Pro-actively identifies and communicates problems and solutions
• Actively employs problem solving techniques and evaluates possible solutions before seeking direction from manager.
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned.

Skills Required:

•  Advanced Excel skills, including (but not limited to):
• • Can manipulate large datasets using advanced functions like SUMPRODUCT, XLOOKUP, and VLOOKUP to find and process specific data points
  • Is comfortable using PivotTables for data summarization and creating dynamic reports that can be easily refreshed
  • Can transform raw data into actionable insights and streamline workflows
  • Can build and quickly update financial models
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning systems is a plus

Required Experience / Education:

• Degree minimum: Bachelor’s Degree
• Specific concentration: Finance / Accounting
• Experience level: 1-3 years of relevant experience
