Our Graduate Program is a two-year commitment designed to grow recent college graduates into logistics professionals. As an Associate, Operations Graduate Program, you will learn about logistics and leadership by gaining working knowledge of the different facets of our business, including operations, customer service, automation, safety and Lean principles. You will learn firsthand how to lead a team of professionals who strive toward the common goals of providing the best service to our customers and being the leader in the logistics industry. What you'll do on a typical day:
- Participate in a series of three rotational assignments, lasting approximately 8 months each, focused on warehouse operations to prepare candidates for an Operations Manager role upon program completion
- Collaborate with leadership, team members, and operations to enact process improvements within the supply chain process
- Work collaboratively and individually to meet goals and objectives
- Communicate effectively with the Graduate Program Manager, placement manager and mentor
- Learn the basic job functions, skills and qualifications of the rotational assignment
- Perform responsibilities relative to the rotational assignment
- Develop professionally by participating in coordinated community events, leadership trainings, and online activities.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree
- Able to start with June 2024 cohort
- Availability to work all shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends, depending on rotational assignment
- Willingness to relocate for future opportunities, with the flexibility to be placed in any of our locations across the U.S.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
It'd be great if you also have:
- Willingness for placement in sites located in Atlanta GA, Ellenwood GA, Fairburn GA, Flowery Branch GA, Forest Park GA, Lithia Springs GA, McDonough GA or Union City GA.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, Operations Management or Engineering
- Industry experience specifically in warehousing / operations
- Energetic and self-motivating work style with a strong drive to succeed
- Confidence to take responsibility for your decisions and actions
- Strong time management skills
- Solid ability to organize, multitask and prioritize
- Aptitude for frontline supervisory positions and operations management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual
