Associate Inside Sales Representative - Airside
Salary Range: $25.00 - $35.00. Salary range depends on experience and also State/Location.
JOB SUMMARY
The Associate Inside Sales Representative for Airside collaborates with customers to thoroughly understand their needs, deliver tailored solutions, and facilitate a seamless sales process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Required:
- Customer Service Excellence: Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally.
- Product and Inventory Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of the company’s inventory and product catalog to effectively promote and sales.
- Order Management: Accurately manage all aspects of order processing, including providing inventory details, entering orders, updating order status, adjusting delivery schedules, and handling pricing and quotations.
- Pricing and Quotations: Collaborate with sales engineers or supervisors on special pricing situations to ensure competitive and accurate proposals.
- Rush Orders: Prioritize and complete rush orders within 24 hours to meet urgent customer demands.
- Order Processing: Prepare, document, and process orders with precision and in accordance with company protocols, ensuring timely delivery of quotations and pricing information.
- Contractor Coordination: Ensure all pre-lien information is correctly received and processed for contractor-ordered materials.
- Returns Management: Handle and process product returns efficiently, following company guidelines.
- Service Requests: Assist with Requests for Service (RFS) to support customer needs and maintain service standards.
- Competitive Quotations: Prepare Competitive Quotation Memos (CQM) with support as needed to offer competitive pricing.
- Technical Support: Perform pump selections using Xylem’s ESP Rep software under supervision, ensuring accurate and appropriate recommendations.
- Rebate Processing: Manage and process customer rebates in a timely manner.
- Additional Responsibilities: Execute other duties as assigned to support the team and division objectives.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma (though a college degree is preferred).
- 1-3 years of inside sales experience, specifically in HVAC equipment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Frequent activities include standing, walking, using hands for manipulation, and reaching with both hands and arms.
