Job DescriptionSummary of Position
The Associate IV may perform a variety of significant tasks, which contribute to the over-all quality and safety of pistachio & almond products. These may include performing tasks in multiple areas, including but not limited to Fabrication, Machine Operation, Maintenance and Sanitation. The Associate IV plays a vital role in their contribution to the over-all goals of various departments.
Duties & Responsibilities
(You may be asked to perform some, or all of the duties described below)
• Prepare production machinery for operation at beginning of shift, including input of production run variables, adjustments, regulation, calibration and testing.
• Monitor machine performance through continual observation and trouble-shooting.
• Responsible for all product “change-overs” and ensuring that machine is sanitized properly.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on all machines in area of responsibility.
• Assist engineers with new product development testing and continuous improvement projects.

• Bilingual in English/Spanish (preferred but not required).
• Communicate issues or concerns to supervisor in a timely manner.
• Intermediate level computer skills are required.
• Attend safety meetings and other departmental or company related meetings as assigned.
• Participate in all “Lock Out-Tag Out” (LOTO) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) events and trainings.
• Observe all “Good Manufacturing Practices” (GMPs) as specified by the Company’s food safety policy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned. (May also be asked to perform “Task Level I & II” duties as needed).
Education / Experience
• High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) recommended.
• 1-2 years of related experience recommended.
Pay Range:$21.15
