Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Discovery: Conduct and manage all aspects of the discovery process, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, and handling depositions.
- Law and Motion: Prepare, file, and argue motions in court. Handle various pre-trial motions and procedural issues.
- Depositions: Take and defend depositions, including those of expert witnesses.
- Court Appearances: Represent clients in court for hearings, conferences, and other legal proceedings.
- Trial Preparation: Assist in preparing cases for trial, including organizing evidence, preparing witnesses, and drafting trial briefs.
- Mediations and Settlements: Participate in mediation sessions and settlement negotiations to resolve disputes amicably.
- Client Interaction: Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information.
Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of litigation experience.
- Bar Membership: Must be a member of the California Bar.
- Education: Degree from an ABA-accredited law school is preferred.
- Skills: Strong experience in discovery, law and motion, depositions, and trial preparation.
