Role / Position Title - Associate Manager, Demand Planning

Hours - 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in office 3 days per week
POSITION SUMMARY
The role will be responsible for demand planning of strategic business units of Glenmark, North America. Key deliverables include forecasting, Net Demand requirement generation, Single point of contact for Country manager, Sales head / directors, Ops and Supply chain teams in the Home office at India, Manging Inbound logistics management, supply chain analytics & KPIs such as Forecast accuracy, Inventory management. Coordination with quality teams for FG release. Coordinate with MTO customers.
OVERALL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Closely coordinate with Business teams i.e. Country manager & Sales Heads to have an accurate forecast available for demand planning. Review new contracts won or lost and ensure demand for these is accurately represented.
- Evaluate new business opportunities for the business. Coordinate with business and Ops & SC teams to explore avenues to grab this new business.
- Net demand requirement planning: Generate the batch sized NDR each month. Weekly / Bi-weekly calls with colleagues in India to have latest updates on product status at SKU level
- KPIs: Daily Back-order reports, Inventory management, inventory availability, Forecast sufficiency, Forecast accuracy etc.
- Manage incoming logistics for the business units. Coordinating with External manufacturing teams, issuing SAFs for shipment, tracking shipments till complete delivery to warehouse. This would include working closely with dispatch and logistics teams across the globe to ensure all shipments coming to our warehouse are authorized, with complete documentation and in time. This would also include interacting with regulatory agencies
- Manage logistics from port to warehouse/customers. This would include working closely with our in-land transporters, scheduling shipments from port to our warehouse, from port to our customers and within warehouses.
- Manage the financial aspects of all the transactions that happen as a part of the activities described above
- Perform detailed analysis to support the planning process. This would include analysis historical sales, forecasts, inventory levels and supply trends in order to gather business insights that aid decision making.
- Develop specialized analytical models to aid specific supply decisions
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels at the warehouse through ERP and non ERP systems. This would include maintaining daily inventory reports, doing ERP inventory transactions and investigating discrepancies, in associate with the warehouse and IT teams
- Manage internal projects. This would include co-ordination with cross functional teams, present status updated on a weekly basis to the management team. Identify improvement opportunities, and drive projects to completion
- Support internal stakeholders. This would include supporting the marketing, finance, quality, regulatory, and IT team with their queries, UAT etc.
