Primary Responsibilities:
- Receives incoming telephone calls in a prompt and courteous manner working with multiple phone lines and provide telephonic patient outreach and patient experience calls
- Have consistent, punctual and reliable attendance
- Consistently exhibits behavior and communication skills that demonstrate commitment to superior customer service, including quality and care and concern with each and every internal and external customer
- Represents the Company in a professional manner, following all Company policies and procedures
- Uses, protects, and discloses patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards
- Responsible for accurately and professionally handling all front desk operations including answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling of all appointments, EOD Billing, addressing routine inquiries, working daily reports, and forwarding non-routine requests to appropriate personnel
- Performs clerical duties as directed
- Coordinates patient care as directed by physicians, company standards and policies
- Supports and follows Standard Delegation of Orders (SDO)
- Building referrals in EMR systems
- Updates and maintains ECW with all patient changes
- Manages medical records (maintains, files/scans, prepares for schedule)
- Ensures all correspondence is scanned and/or filed in timely manner
- Processes requests for medical records release and maintains appropriate logs, etc.
- Ability to work independently
- Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher) OR 4+ years of customer service experience
- 1+ years of data entry and customer service experience with strong communication skills both in person and via phone
- 1+ year of experience/working knowledge of medical office procedures and medical terminology
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications to include Excel, Word, and Outlook
Preferred Qualification:
- Experience in a physician’s office, clinical or hospital setting
- Ability to display excellent telephone/switchboard etiquette
- Ability to interact and verbally communicate effectively with patients and all levels of personnel in a professional, courteous and effective manner with excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task in a high paced environment with good organizational skills
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions and to work with general guidance
- Demonstrated clerical skills (typing, filing, telephone courtesy)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) language proficiency
