Responsibilities:

The APM, with support and guidance from more experienced team members, manages one or more assigned products in support of Product Development, Product Innovation, Sales, Profit, Quality, Availability and Service Goals. This is a highly visible developmental role for an individual interested in a career in Product Management.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Executes strategies in alignment with product category to achieve product vision.
2. Develops plans to execute product strategies to meet corporate objectives and serve customers.
3. Contributes to product roadmap, assisting with aligning internal and external direction.
4. Drives product innovation within the product offering.
5. Develops new product development through the Corporate Stage Gate Process.
6. Develops and manages a deep understanding of assigned products.
7. Sets pricing for assigned products.
8. Executes product lifestyle planning activity for products assigned (NPD through EOL).
9. Possesses knowledge and understanding of the Code of Business Ethics. Contributes to a workplace environment that is conducive to themaintenance of the Code. Remains alert and sensitive to situations thatcould result in actions by an employee that are illegal, unethical, inviolation of the Code or the policies and procedures that support theCode. Reports actual or perceived violations of the Code or Companypolicies and procedures for appropriate action.
10. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 1-4 years of experience in a marketing, product management, engineering, customer service or other relevant role
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a Science/Technical degree is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or other relevant major will also be considered.
• Excellent communications,organizational, and mathematicalskills
• Additional preference will be given to candidates with experience in the following areas:
• New Product Development
• Customer field research (ex: ethnographic research)
• Product marketing
• Industry-specific work experience (i.e., Commercial Laboratory, Foodservice, Healthcare)
