About the Job
- Under direct supervision, assist Project Management in the oversight of capital projects
- Assists Engineers and Architects in the collection and treatment of data
- Prepares reports that monitors the progress of capital projects
- Reviews contract drawings and specification prepares daily report, RFI and submittals logs
- Assists Project Manager with various paperwork requires in the field
- Coordinates with Contractors and Depot Management on various projects
- Assist in coordinating formal responses from the design team
- Perform other duties as required or assigned by management
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in mechanical engineering and one year of full-time satisfactory experience in project management work, drafting and code compliance including planning, administering, managing, coordinating, or expediting, for engineering projects
- A Professional Engineer License and valid NYS Driver's License are preferred
- Knowledge of PC applications
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- 30-hour OSHA must be completed prior to starting the position
