About the Role:The Associate Recruiting and Attorney Development Assistant is an integral part of Latham’s Human Capital & Talent team and will be responsible for supporting all phases of entry-level hiring and the summer program, managing applicant materials and correspondence, and coordinating interview schedules and recruiting events, while arranging and attending internal and external recruiting events, functions, presentations, trainings, and social events for the attorneys in the office. This role will be located in our New York office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:Other key responsibilities include:
- Handling course administration of registration sheets and course materials, coordinating the setup of AV and other technical equipment, meeting and greeting internal and external speakers, and assisting with the layout of training rooms
- Generating reports, presentations, and materials
- Receiving, routing, and forwarding applicant materials for review by appropriate individuals and committee members
- Supporting the firm’s various local affinity groups through programming, events, and initiatives
- Coordinating meetings for presentations regarding committee-related topics and participating in local and global recruiting committee business
- Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains

- Demonstrate well-developed and professional interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
- Display the ability to work in a team environment with a customer-service focus
- Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal
And have:
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent
- Previous professional experience, preferably

Pay Range:USD $55,000.00 - USD $62,000.00 /Yr.
