Morgan Stanley Services Group Inc.seeks to fillthe position of Associate, Reliability and Product Engineerin New York, NY.
Provide technical support to commodities traders on their trading activities. Work with
Infrastructure, vendor, development and external teams on technology issues. Work with operations on
setting up various quotes and its definitions, curves set up and amendments. Analyze and automate manual processes to reduce manual intervention. Identify and troubleshoot the processing issues. Coordinate and resolve production incidents and outages. Perform proper post-mortem of issues and problem management.
Salary: Expected base pay rates for the rolewill bebetween $151000and $151000per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years of experience as a Software IT Analyst, Systems Engineer, or a related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience with: Linux/Unix infrastructure; Windows
Server infrastructure; Database infrastructure including: Sybase, DB2; Client-server applications across distributed systems; SQL; Unix shell scripting; XML; Python; Grid computing; Cloud technologies; JIRA.
