Position Summary:
As the Residential Clinical Manager, you will serve as the senior clinician for our 16-bed residential treatment program, providing leadership, mentorship, and clinical supervision to a dedicated team of staff. - Provide mentorship, clinical supervision, and support to junior staff, promoting growth and high standards of care.
- Oversee clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with Medi-Cal, contract, and licensing requirements.
- Develop and facilitate a range of direct service groups and activities tailored to patient needs in a residential setting.
- Manage referrals and intakes, ensuring a high occupancy rate and that all new residents meet the program's clinical criteria.
- Provide crisis management support as needed and share on-call responsibilities with other management staff.
- Oversee medication management and ensure proper practices are in place for patient safety and wellness.
- Collaborate with community stakeholders and external providers to ensure comprehensive, multidisciplinary care.
- Licensed Clinician: LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, PsyD, or PhD with an advanced degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling.
- Experience: At least 2 years of clinical and supervisory experience in mental health and substance use recovery programs.
- Commitment to Harm Reduction: Strong belief in patient-centered care, harm reduction practices, and a judgment-free therapeutic approach.
- Crisis Management: Experience in de-escalation and crisis intervention in residential or clinical settings.
- Leadership & Mentorship: A demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a clinical team while maintaining a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and ensure high standards of documentation and reporting.
- Facility History & Growth Potential: This program has been the heart of our services since the 1950s. It temporarily closed in 2023, but reopened in 2024 with new funding and a renewed commitment to delivering top-tier care.
