Title: Associate Scientist
Location: Johns Creek, GA
Contract Length: 6 Months
Job description. Job Summary: Associate Research Scientists (unspecified type) typically work in a laboratory environment, conducting research and experiments for industrial or commercial ends. They may help develop new products for the company or help contribute to scientific understanding within their field. Primary Responsibilities:
• Support formulation preparation, development and optimization of new process, designs, and prototypes.
• Participate in research formulating and writing with other staff.
• Assess new technologies and future applications of technologies.
• Propose, plan, and manage research projects, report preparation, and presentation of findings.
• May be required to mentor, train and/or coach junior research scientists
• Stay up to date on developments within their field through methods such as reading academic journals, attending training programs and attending conferences within their field.
Education:
• Bachelors degree or higher in a scientific discipline with adequate experience (MS with 0-2 yrs; BS with 0-5 yrs).
• Fluency in English required.
Experience:
• Background in Chemistry, Material Science, Chemical engineering, process engineering
• Formulation and process experience with hydrogel and contact lens care are desired
• Must be able to write reports and communicate well to internal customers.

- Onsite - 8 hours a day (schedule will vary depending on the study) 8:00AM
