responsibilities:
- Conduct immunoassay-related activities within Life Science business at Company. Reporting to the R&D Manager. This individual will be responsible for several roles focusing on development and qualification of immunoassays for specialized custom projects.
- These include antibody derivatization and conjugation, antibody pair evaluation in multiple formats, preparation of commercial immunoassay components, running immunoassays on biological samples, and generation of data packages with results.
- This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in cutting-edge multiplex and high sensitivity assay technologies.
qualifications:
- Master or Bachelor degree in biology, chemistry or related bioscience field.
- Prefer 1-3 years of related experience, and has demonstrated success in academic or industrial biomedical groups.
- Experience in technical skills such as Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, ELISA, or antibody-based assays. Previous experience in antibody conjugation and running bead-based immunoassays is a plus.
- Excellent pipetting skills a must
- Excel skills in data manipulation and presentation, or use of other software for data calculations.
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
