Associate Scientist - Synthesis - Nova Biomedical

Nova Biomedical is hiring an Associate Scientist in our R&D Organic Research Lab on-site in our Waltham, MA office. The individual in this role will be responsible for the synthesis of both routine and novel chemicals used in a variety clinical analyzers and instrumentations. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting research and development in assigned area, under general supervision, using established methodologies.
• Performing literature searches.
• Documenting experiments and preparations in detail and writing lab reports.
• Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate should have a BS degree in Chemistry.
• 0-2 years lab experience, strong background in organic chemistry is required.
• Must be a good team player and possess the ability to organize, prioritize, and schedule work assignments, execute the job assignment in detail with care.
• Knowledge of basic research and development techniques is also required.
