Title: Associate Scientist (Screening and Genotyping)
Location: Tarrytown, NY
Schedule: M-F 8 AM- 5 PM

Responsibilities:
Join a new target discovery pipeline based on CRISPR technologies. You will support development of cell-based screening assays, performance and analysis of CRISPR screens using mammalian cell culture systems, and validation of potential hits.

Responsibilities:
Join a new target discovery pipeline based on CRISPR technologies. You will support development of cell-based screening assays, performance and analysis of CRISPR screens using mammalian cell culture systems, and validation of potential hits.
- Establishing and optimizing CRISPR screens by using genome-wide and/or targeted gRNA libraries.
- Working with cultured mammalian cell lines and primary cells.
- Performing flow cytometry, including FACS, and immunofluorescence experiments.
- Validating CRISPR-based gene editing at RNA, protein expression and functional levels.
- Conducting experiments using state-of-the-art molecular and cell biology techniques.
- Deigning experiments, analyzing and plotting data, communicating findings in meetings with the lab and company.
- Maintaining accurate, up-to-date electronic lab records.
- Bachelor's/Master's in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology
- 2-3+ years of relevant experience.
- Must have extensive experience with tissue culture as well as cell engineering technologies.
- A deep understanding of CRISPR technologies and forward genetics is needed.
- Experience with CRISPR screens, data analysis, and bioinformatics is a plus.
- You have strong communication and presentation skills.
