Associate Solutions Architect - Liberty Mutual Insurance

Position Overview:
As an Associate Solutions Architect, you will work closely with senior architects, development teams, and stakeholders to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing and developing scalable and secure solutions, aligning with business needs and technology strategies.
• Collaborate with senior architects and engineering teams to implement solutions across various systems and platforms.
• Contribute to defining technical specifications, solution architecture, and integration strategies.
• Conduct system analysis, requirements gathering, and collaborate with business teams to understand project goals and constraints.
• Support the evaluation and integration of new technologies, platforms, and tools to improve business processes.
• Ensure solution designs follow best practices in performance, security, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in the delivery process by supporting testing, implementation, and post-deployment analysis.
• Document architectural blueprints, design patterns, and key decisions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, and business) to ensure seamless implementation of solutions.
• Stay updated on emerging technology trends and provide insights for potential improvements or innovations.

Qualifications:

• Must reside in the USA or be a U.S. citizen.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a technical role, with exposure to solution architecture or software development.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with software development processes, DevOps practices, and infrastructure management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of integration patterns, APIs, and common software development frameworks.
• Experience working in Agile development environments is a plus.
• Proactive, self-starter with a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with cloud computing and modern architecture frameworks.
• Basic knowledge of automation tools and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
