Job Description
This position will be based on-site 5 days a week.
Support roles related to demand planning, inventory management, procurement, supply chain and operations network planning.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and maintain a master production schedule for the facility. Coordinate with team members and management to maximize efficiency in production while meeting business inventory needs.
Under direct supervision, prepare supply chain and operational analysis projects. Follow up, report on and coordinate projects.
Assist with demand planning responsibilities for the facility, working with internal and external team members to improve accuracy of future forecasts of finished goods.
Maintain system data related to forecasting and MRP parameters.
Train as a backup for the procurement of raw materials for the facility, preparing purchase orders when necessary.
Troubleshoot purchase order discrepancies, working with AP and vendors on timely resolutions.
Apply reporting standards for ad-hoc and routine business reports.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor’s degree. Or High school diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years relevant experience.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel.
