Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Technician for our Production Operations team. This role involves a variety of assignments within a manufacturing environment, including material handling, loading and unloading equipment, and documentation tasks. The successful candidate will adhere to all company, site, and departmental procedures, and ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, and ISO standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Material Handling: Perform tasks related to handling materials, including loading and unloading panels from equipment.
- Documentation: Accurately record information and maintain up-to-date documentation in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Compliance: Follow all company, site, and departmental procedures while maintaining strict adherence to FDA, GMP, and ISO standards.
- Housekeeping: Conduct daily housekeeping of production areas and equipment to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
- Training: Maintain up-to-date training records and comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Safety and Quality: Communicate any safety, quality, or production issues immediately to the appropriate level. Stop the production line if necessary and notify the relevant individual for any concerns involving safety, quality, or production.
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with team members, demonstrating good attendance and adaptability to changes in work assignments.
- 5S Activities: Support and maintain 5S activities in manufacturing areas to ensure a well-organized and efficient workspace.
- Training Requirements: Monitor and maintain minimum training requirements in Master Control, Knowledge Connection, and Connect systems.
Boundary Conditions and Authority Levels:
- Instructions: Normally receives instructions on routine work and detailed instructions for new assignments from the Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.
- Compliance and Safety: Maintain strict adherence to compliance, safety standards, and standard work instructions.
- Skill and Knowledge: Ensure appropriate skill, knowledge, and training to perform assigned tasks.
- Issue Reporting: Communicate any safety, quality, or production problems to the appropriate level immediately.
- Production Line Authority: Have the authority to stop the production line and notify the appropriate individual for concerns involving safety, quality, or production.
- Disciplinary Action: This role does not include responsibility for conducting disciplinary actions. Issues encountered should be communicated to the appropriate level.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant experience is a plus.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work conditions and tasks.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move materials as required.
- Capable of standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
- Occasional overtime may be required based on production needs.
