Job Title: Assoicate Therapist
Salary: $70,000-$80,000
Job Purpose: The Associate Therapist for Substance Abuse will provide therapeutic services to clients enrolled in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). The role involves conducting individual and group therapy sessions, developing treatment plans, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support clients in their recovery journey.

Job Purpose: The Associate Therapist for Substance Abuse will provide therapeutic services to clients enrolled in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). The role involves conducting individual and group therapy sessions, developing treatment plans, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support clients in their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine their needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical professionals, and other therapists to ensure integrated care.
- Monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Educate clients and their families about substance abuse, coping strategies, and relapse prevention.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development.
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Valid state license or registration as an Associate Therapist (e.g., AMFT, APCC, ASW).
- Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders, preferably in a PHP/IOP setting.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities for substance abuse.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in the field.
- Demonstrate a high level of clinical competence and professional integrity.

- Effectively manage a caseload and meet documentation deadlines.
