About Crestview Animal Hospital  

Founded by Dr. John McGruder, the team at Crestview Animal Hospital has been a trusted provider of general practice veterinary care to Cumming, Georgia and the surrounding areas since 1984.  The team officially joined our network at PetVet in 2022– and in January of this year, we launched a brand-new emergency department.  Working in collaboration with our 7-doctor general practice team in a state-of-the-art facility, our emergency doctors offer overnight services 7 days a week with extended day-time hours on Saturdays and Sundays.

Crestview is located in the heart of downtown Cumming, GA. Located 39 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta and 15 miles northeast of Alpharetta – close enough to enjoy concerts, sporting events, etc. but outside the hustle and bustle of the big city. This area truly offers the best of both worlds. Cumming, located in Forsyth County, also offers highly-rated schools and with ample extra-curricular opportunities – ranking in the top 5 best school districts in the Atlanta area according to Niche.com. Emergency Hours:

7p-7a Monday – Friday

2p Saturday – 7am Monday

(Hospital is open 24/7 – hours outside of Emergency are handled by our Daytime GP DVMs)

  3 shifts per week with full-time benefits *part-time and PRN options available*

$     Strong base salary starting at $150K + production

✌  1 month of paid time off annually

Our ideal candidate

  Holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree (or ECFVG equivalent) 
and is in good standing with Georgia State Veterinary Board License

  Holds (or is eligible for) an active DEA license (reimbursement provided)

  Has >1-2 years of emergency experience and is comfortable performing surgery; Training and Mentorship available for candidates who need it!

  Is as enthusiastic as we are about providing exceptional veterinary care
