About the Job
California Veterinary Hospital is located in beautiful Gardena, California. We are 10 to 15 minutes away from multiple Los Angeles County beach cities, LAX airport and downtown Los Angeles. We are a fully paperless, well equipped hospital with digital radiographs, ultrasound, in house laboratory, dental radiographs. We are looking for a full or part time veterinarian who wants a practice where they will know and have a relationship with their clients and work with knowledgeable, experienced staff.

Essential Responsibilities & Functions

- Follow the established policies and procedures that govern the normal operation of the hospital.
- Dedication efficiently handling caseloads and maintaining accurate records using SOAP templates for treatment plans and recommendations.
- Promote a collaborative working environment and encourage the value of teamwork.
- Prioritize traumatic injuries and serious illnesses to ensure that all animals receive time-sensitive care.
- Educate clients on the importance of vaccinations, heartworm treatments, flea and tick treatments and other aspects of preventive care.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
- State Veterinary Board License in good standing.
