As an Associate Veterinarian - Vet, you'll enjoy a competitive salary ranging from $150,000 to $200,000 per year, based on your experience. ABOUT THIS VITAL ROLE:
As an Associate Veterinarian - Vet, you'll revel in diagnosing and treating our clients' cherished cats, performing transformative surgeries, and providing meticulous wound care. From spaying and neutering to prescribing tailored medications and offering invaluable advice on nutrition and preventive care, you'll be at the forefront of improving feline lives. Your expertise will shine as you effortlessly communicate with pet owners, adeptly explaining medical terms and conditions in simple, relatable language. Each day, you'll forge a lasting bond with feline patients and their devoted owners, creating a legacy of exceptional care.
This position typically works from 8 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Thursday, with a shorter Friday from 8 am to 4 pm. Additionally, enjoy a refreshing change by having Saturdays off every other weekend! Say farewell to after-hour emergencies and relish the freedom to recharge and pursue personal interests.
All that we ask is that you have the following qualifications:
- NY State Veterinary license
- Work experience as a veterinarian (4+ years of veterinarian work experience preferred)
- Experience conducting various types of surgeries, vaccinations, and health checks on animals
- Knowledge of medical equipment (e.g., X-ray machines) and anesthesia procedures
- Problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain medical terms in layman's terms
- Patience and a love for cats
