About the Job
Position Summary:
The Associate Video Editor is responsible for the editorial and finishing of internal and external video packages. This will include footage assembly, color correction and sound finishing, basic graphic animations and occasional video shooting. This position will be responsible for assisting with cataloging and tracking all footage on LEO's or their client's behalf. This position will work closely with creative directors and producers to create finished video deliverables but will also work independently on some projects.
The position is required to work from our Nashville office. Occasional evenings and weekends, and a willingness to travel required. Approximately 10-15% of travel.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• Work under direction to create and deliver finished video modules that tell the internal or client story as assigned.
• Assist with creating cutting edge video edits and professional and engaging graphics.
• Assist with providing basic video shooting for creative or documentation purposes.
• Work on tight turnarounds and strict schedule requirements.
• Assist with video finishing in both color correction and audio finishing.
• Assist with animating pre-existing artwork for use within videos.
• Assist with maintaining video archive filing system of all raw footage, final videos, show records and files uploaded to our online viewing portals.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in film or media-related field
• 2+ years of experience in professional video editing preferred
• Proficient in industry standard software such as Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe After Effects, Resolve, ProTools
• Operational knowledge of Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
• Solid understanding of business software applications including MS Office Suite, Keynote, Dropbox, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook and other basic software
• Knowledge of building motion graphics

• Creative in thoughts and actions; ability to actively anticipate obstacles and create/suggest solutions
• Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
• Motivated self-starter that embraces the opportunity to work independently and tacked other duties as assigned
Environmental Conditions and Physical Demands:
Employee required to spend a portion of time remaining in a seated position looking at a computer screen. Employee will be required to do some standing and walking. Must be able to lift 25lbs.
