Our Fabrication department in Pasco, WA is now looking for a Associate Welder. Key Tasks + Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks. + Works on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment. Has little or no role in decision-making. + Normally receives detailed instructions on all work. Works under close supervision. + Working towards completion in Permobil in-house weld training in either aluminium or titanium. + Weld aluminium and/or titanium frames and parts according to instructions and training. + Ability to show consistent improvement in welded quality parts; understanding of how to identify contamination, uniformity, tie-in issues, etc. + Show consistent welding ability improvement. + Maintain a clean and safe work area and awareness of surroundings. + Work as a team and maintain professionalism at all levels in the organization. + Follow direction, procedures, and instructions for all work assignments. + Ability to read and understand computer aided design (CAD) files and 1:1 blueprint's. + Support all quality, safety, and environmental programs. + Safely and proficiently operate tools and equipment needed to fabricate, weld, and assemble parts. + Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. + Duties and responsibilities may change from time to time Why Permobil is a great next step for you! 1. Your Background + High school diploma or GED equivalent. + Completion of prior weld certification course. + Typically requires less then 0-3 years of experience. Additional Information + Salary: Hourly rate of $20-24 per hour, paid bi-weekly. + Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 5:00am - 3:30pm with OT possibilities. + Vacation or PTO: During initial year of employment: Up to 80 hours of vacation, which will be prorated based upon start date. After initial year of employment, earn 136 vacation hours. + Sick Time: Per Washington State law, one hour of sick time for every 40 hours worked, with the ability to roll over up to 40 hours into the next year. + Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision benefit options beginning first day of employment. + Long Term Disability and Company Provided Life Insurance Policy for all employees + 401K eligibility on the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment.
