Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in employment law cases, including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and wage disputes.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
- Draft a variety of legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs.
- Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediation sessions.
- Negotiate settlements with opposing parties when appropriate.
Essential Job Functions:
- Possess a strong understanding of employment law principles and relevant statutes.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage caseloads.
- Pay meticulous attention to detail and maintain accuracy in all work.
- Must be licensed to practice law in Missouri (Kansas licensure is a plus).
