About the Job
The Associagtion Sales Manager-Galveston, is responsible for effectively soliciting and becoming familiar with all accounts in his/her market segments. The Association Sales Manager is also responsible for prospecting and closing on assigned accounts/territoroy to positively impact hotel revenues. The Association Sales Manager will work in conjunctin with theh National Sales Manager for Associations in Market and the Director of Sales and Marketing to achieve the revenue and market share goals for the hotels assigned.
Responsibilities:- Develop a full working knowledge of the operations of the hotel, including food & Beverage, guest services and reservations.
- Develop a complete knowledge of company sales policies and ensure knowledge of and adherence to those policies by the sales team.
- Grow relationslhps with assigned accounts specific to Association market as applicable by properties.
- Meet or exceed set goals.
- Meet, greet and provide assistance when needed to onsite contacts.
Qualifications:
Prefere at least 2 years of progresssive hoel or related field.; or a 4-year college degree and at least 2 or more years of related experience, or a 2 year college degree and 3 or more years of related experience.
