We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Corporate Attorney with a strong background in engineering industry specific legal matters. This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a dynamic individual who can navigate complex legal landscapes and provide sound legal advice and solutions to our organization. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience, with a proven track record in corporate law, business litigation, contract negotiation, employment law, and real estate transactional law. This role will play a critical part in our organization's legal department, offering an excellent opportunity for career growth and development.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of legal matters pertinent to the engineering industry.
2. Draft, review, and negotiate various types of contracts including employment agreements, vendor contracts, and real estate transactions.
3. Represent the company in any business litigation, efficiently handling motions and ensuring the company's interests are protected.
4. Advise on legal aspects of the company’s strategic plans and projects, ensuring legal compliance and limiting risk exposure.
5. Implement and manage an effective legal compliance program.
6. Develop company policy and position on legal issues.
7. Research, anticipate, and guard the company against legal risks.
8. Guide managers and ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
9. Structure, draft, and review reports and other legal documents.
10. Represent the company in legal proceedings.
11. Negotiate deals and attend company meetings.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Attorney.
3. Proven experience in the engineering industry is a must.
4. Extensive knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures.
5. Demonstrated background in business litigation, contract negotiation, employment law, and real estate transactional law.
6. Familiarity with First Party Property laws and regulations.
7. Proven track record of successfully managing legal cases from inception to completion.
8. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
9. Ability to provide clear and concise legal advice.
10. High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
11. Excellent judgement and analytical skills.
12. Current license to practice law.
