Major/Essential Functions
Rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor and applicable salary are dependent upon candidate’s qualifications and experience.Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Inpatient Hem/Onc consult service
- Inpatient Hem/Onc service
- Outpatient Hem/Onc clinic at the UMC Cancer Center 4 half days per week
- Supervising residents and fellows and service in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Provide lectures and conferences for residents, fellows, and medical students
- Conducts and publishes peer reviewed clinical research

Required Qualifications
- MD/DO or MBBS.
- Ability to obtain a Texas Medical License.
- Board Eligible in Hematology or in the process of completing a Hematology Fellowship, OR;
- Board Eligible in Oncology or in the process of completing an Oncology Fellowship.
