We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an Assurance Director to join the team in our Tysons Corner office.

CohnReznick is a hybrid firm most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to alternate time between both remote and office. YOUR TEAM.

This position will support our Government Contracting Group. We provide comprehensive services to assist government contractors with a full life cycle approach to winning and managing contracts. We ensure company's financial and procurement processes are compliant, efficient and effective - so they can focus on what matters most, profitable growth.

YOUR ROLE. 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

As an audit director, your primary responsibilities include providing technical consultation to our GovCon clients, serving as the engagement leader, growing our practice through business development activities, and developing and mentoring staff.

Our professionals work on a variety of engagements including, but not limited to the following:

• Audits
• Reviews
• Compilations
• Agreed-upon procedures
• Other attestation engagements

The ideal candidate will possess expertise and experience within the Government Contracting industries. In addition, the candidate must have proven experience directing and driving the success of multiple engagements, managing budgetary and time constraints, and delivering a high-level of client satisfaction.

YOUR EXPERIENCE. 

The successful candidate will have:

• Minimum 10+ years of work experience in another public accounting firm
• GovCon audit experience required
• Exceptional analytical, technical, and auditing skills including knowledge in US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB rules and standards
• Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in accounting required
• CPA licensure required
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent written interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Demonstrates an Entrepreneurial spirit
• Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of audit software such as CaseWare or CCH
• Exceptional organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills
