Job Title: Full-Time Athletic Trainer (ATC) – On-Site Injury Prevention Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking a full-time Athletic Trainer (ATC) to join our team in Sandusky, OH. As an on-site ATC, you will work directly with employees to promote injury prevention and management. This role involves hands-on coaching to improve lifestyle behaviors and ensure workplace safety.
 
Schedule & compensation:

• Full time: Monday - Friday
• Part-Time Hours: Flexible scheduling to supplement full-time coverage and fill in for emergencies.
• Compensation: competitive, depends on years of experience

• Provide on-site emergency response and OSHA First Aid for minor injuries
• Educate and treat employees on injury prevention and management
• Conduct safety walks and participate in the Emergency Response Team
• Perform diagnostic tests, respond to injuries/illnesses, and communicate results with medical professionals
• Ensure safety equipment inspections (AED, safety showers, etc.)
• Support employees in setting health and safety goals through a proprietary coaching process

• First Aid and CPR certification
• ATC Certified
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently

• CPR/AED Instructor Certification
• 1+ year of coaching experience (fitness, nutrition, etc.)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and EMR/SOAP data entry
• Experience with Motivational Interviewing techniques
• Ability to take manual blood pressure
