Job Overview & Work Site:
- Provide medical coverage and injury evaluation for all sports teams during practices, games, and competitions.
- Develop and implement injury prevention programs tailored to the needs of individual athletes and specific sports.
- Administer appropriate immediate care for injured athletes on-site and arrange for further medical evaluation or treatment when necessary.
- Create and manage rehabilitation plans for injured athletes to facilitate safe and timely return to play.
- Communicate with coaches, parents, and healthcare professionals to ensure all parties are informed about the status of injured athletes.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of injuries, treatments, and progress of each athlete.
- Assist in maintaining a safe sports environment by inspecting and ensuring proper use of sports equipment and facilities.
- Educate athletes about nutrition, hydration, and injury prevention techniques.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in sports medicine and best practices in athletic training.

License & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Athletic Training or a related field.
- Certification by the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification (NATABOC).
- Current state licensure (AL).
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate sports schedules.
- Previous experience working with high school athletes is a plus.
