Our client, a full service Austin law firm, seeks a mid-level attorney with commercial and/or construction related litigation experience to join their team. The Mid-Level Commercial Litigation Attorney will handle a diverse caseload, with a particular focus on commercial and construction-related disputes. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our firm's growth and client development efforts. Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in commercial and construction litigation matters from inception through resolution, including trial preparation and courtroom appearances.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and provide sound legal advice to clients.
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.
- Manage multiple cases simultaneously, ensuring timely and efficient progress.
- Participate in business development activities to expand the firm's client base and build lasting professional relationships.
- Mentor junior attorneys and provide guidance as needed.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in Texas.
- 3+ years of experience in commercial and/or construction litigation.
- Strong knowledge of legal procedures, case law, and statutory requirements related to commercial and construction disputes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop strategic solutions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
