Job Description

We are seeking an Attorney - Family Law to become a part of our team! You will represent clients in legal proceedings, prepare for and attend court hearings, draw up legal documents and advise clients on legal transactions (Divorce, Estate Mgt., Custody, Disputes Mgt. etc.).

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in court or before government agencies
• Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients
• Advise clients on business and legal transactions
• Negotiate settlements and assist Sr Attorneys for legal disputes
• Comply with all legal standards and regulations
• Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of family law

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Family Law
• Prepare for and attend court hearings
• Familiarity with preparation of various legal documents 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Work with and manage an independent case load responsibly
• Some travel to Decatur Office
