We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Attorney to join our fast-paced legal team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about advocating for clients who have suffered personal injuries and committed to providing them with high-quality legal representation. This position requires a deep understanding of personal injury law, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
1. Represent clients who have suffered personal injuries in legal proceedings.
2. Conduct thorough case investigations to uncover all relevant facts and evidence.
3. Draft and file legal documents necessary for personal injury cases, including complaints, pleadings, and motions.
4. Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies to ensure clients receive fair compensation.
5. Prepare and present cases for trial, including selecting jurors, arguing motions, meeting with judges, and presenting evidence.
6. Conduct and defend depositions, interrogatories, and document production requests.
7. Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed about the progress of their cases.
8. Collaborate with legal staff to manage case schedules, deadlines, and documentation.
9. Stay updated on current legislation and case law related to personal injury.
10. Comply with all legal standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the State Bar.
3. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Personal Injury Attorney.
4. Proven litigation experience, preferably in personal injury law.
5. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve cases favorably.
6. Excellent legal writing skills, with the ability to draft clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents.
7. Experience managing a high-volume case load, with strong organizational and case management skills.
8. Trial experience, with a track record of success in the courtroom.
9. Experience conducting and defending depositions.
10. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to providing outstanding client service.
11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
12. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
