About the role: 

LOIS is seeking a New York-barred attorney to join our growing litigation practice, where you will defend some of America's most iconic employers in New York workers' compensation actions. This role requires a willingness to stand up for your clients, to be an advocate, and to ensure a fair court process for all parties. You will have significant client contact and opportunities to present creative strategies in court. 

Clear Compensation

At LOIS base compensation for attorneys begins at $120,000 with clear fixed bonuses in place. We set an annual billable budget based on your preferences, beginning at 1,852 per year.

Responsibilities:

• Represent client interests at virtual hearings and telephonic depositions;
• Counsel clients on emerging issues in litigated matters;
• Prepare exposure analysis and conduct settlement negotiations;
• Consistently apply firm standards and tactics to achieve client goals.
