Audio & Visual Specialist, MTCCS - FJLA - Yorktown Systems Group

Summary:

Yorktown Systems Group is seeking a qualified Audio & Visual (AV) Specialist to support the Fort Johnson, Louisiana (FJLA) Mission Training Complex (MTC) Contract with Simulation/Stimulation training support. Support to the JBSA MTC shall include integrated individual and collective Mission Command (MC) staff training and exercise via live, virtual and constructive modeling and simulations (e.g., Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC)) for home station, mission planning and rehearsal, and pre-deployment training ranging from platoon up to Combined Joint Task Forces (CJTF) levels with its Areas of Operations, to include Constructive and Gaming support to Title 10 Army training, Joint Training Plan (JTP), Theater Security Cooperation (TSC) engagement plan, Mission Rehearsals, Joint Interagency, Intergovernmental and Multinational (JIIM), and other multinational training are critical support elements for the JBSA MTC.

Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Shall provide technical support and operate NIPR/SIPR VTC suites, and TEAMS at each site, as required by the Government.
• Set up VTC equipment, establish connections to remote sites, and operate the VTC.
• Provide troubleshooting, maintenance, and coordinate repair services for VTC, conference room systems, and AAR Theater systems with the hardware maintenance provider to resolve any equipment issues or malfunctions.
• Serve as a SME trainer and system updater on at least one Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) model during Command Post Exercise (CPXs) that require the use of Warfighter Simulation (WARSIM).
• Performs routine maintenance, and inventory tracking.
• Responsibilities include installing, configuring, operating, disassembling, and troubleshooting audio visual equipment.
• Responds to and resolves routine questions and technical issues.
• Coordinates with clients on placement, integration, and ensures functionality of projectors, lighting, microphones, sound mixing, recording and video-conferencing equipment for live events and meetings.

Required Qualifications:

• The appropriate DOD 8570.01-M baseline certifications as an IAT level II.
• Have demonstrated experience (1 to 2 years) operating and maintaining Video Teleconferencing systems using Creston, Extron, and other control systems.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft O365 and Microsoft Teams.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals such as Transmission Control Protocol (TCP/IP), addressing, firewalls, routers, Virtual Local Area Network (VLANs), and Virtual Private Network (VPN).
