Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Provide a full range of clinical audiology services, including diagnostic evaluations, hearing aid fittings, and auditory rehabilitation.
• Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough audiological assessments, including hearing tests, balance assessments, and other diagnostic procedures.
• Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
• Counseling and Education: Educate patients and families about hearing loss, prevention strategies, and available treatment options.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and speech-language pathologists, to ensure coordinated care for patients.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information.

Qualifications:

• Required:
  • Doctor of Audiology (AuD) or PhD in Audiology.
  • Current California Audiologist license or a Provisional Audiologist license (with full licensure within three months of hire).
• Preferred:
  • Current California Dispensing Audiologist License.
