Audit Associate - Gpac

gpac, a 30+ year recruitment company, is partnered with a well-established Public Accounting firm in New Mexico. This is an amazing opportunity for candidates who possess 3+ years of experience, a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, and a CPA License or eligibility.
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits and reviews of financial statements
- Prepare tax returns for a variety of clients
- Collaborate closely with team members and clients
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients
- Stay current with industry trends and regulations

Position Essential Job Functions:
- Interact with clients to gather necessary information and build relationships
- Analyze financial data to determine appropriate financial and tax strategies
- Communicate complex financial information in an understandable manner
- Identify opportunities for process improvements
- Adhere to strict deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively

Position Skills:
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting software
