About the Job
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Audit Director to join our Assurance & Advisory team in Denver. This role is pivotal in leading audit engagements and providing top-notch advisory services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage audit engagements, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing strategic advice and insights.
- Oversee and mentor a team of audit professionals, fostering an environment of continuous learning and development.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to provide the best advisory services.
- Collaborate with other departments to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (CPA, CIA, etc.) is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in audit, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Maximum of 10 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Generalist or Government audit experience
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
