1. Leading audit engagements, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
2. Reviewing and preparing financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
3. Managing relationships with clients, providing excellent service, and identifying opportunities for new business.
4. Conducting detailed audit procedures, including reviewing transactions, documents, records, reports, and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
5. Supervising and mentoring junior audit staff, providing guidance and feedback to enhance their professional development.
6. Collaborating with other team members to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines.
7. Identifying and communicating accounting and auditing matters to managers and partners.
8. Staying updated on current accounting and audit practices and changes in tax law.
Job Details
The ideal candidate for the Audit Senior role will have:
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. CPA certification is required.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in public auditing, preferably with exposure to the real estate and manufacturing sectors.
4. Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
5. Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills, including proficiency in US GAAP and GAAS.
6. Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships.
7. Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex financial information.
9. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software.
10. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and work under pressure in a fast-paced work environment.
