Our Audit practice seeks a professional with strong technical skills to serve as a trusted adviser that can resolve and provide various complex assurance and consulting services to a wide range of our valued clients, to join our Manufacturing and Distribution team as a Senior Associate. This role will focus on serving clients in manufacturing, distribution, retail, shipping, professional services, large corporations, multi-national, and other SEC registrants.
The preferred location for the position is our New York office. Our firm also offers hybrid working environment.
What You Will Do:
• Lead assigned audit engagements, collaborating with audit team members on planning a risked based audit strategy, audit execution, and completion within budget
• Identify accounting and audit risks using US GAAP, IFRS, US GAAS, IAS, and PCAOB auditing standards
• Establish expectations of the audit team, define level of services to be delivered, and manage competing priorities throughout engagements
• Supervise engagement fieldwork and provide ongoing guidance to audit staff and participate in audit procedures that impact more complex or specialized issues facing a client
• Participate in the professional development of other audit staff through knowledge sharing, on-site training, timely performance feedback, and other firm initiatives
• Anticipate and address client concerns, and escalate any issues to engagement Manager and Partner as they arise
• Understand the client industries, and recognize business trends, emerging industry and technical developments, and key performance drivers that may impact a client's business
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and identify opportunities for expanded firm services that benefit client
• Develop a strategy for successful long-term professional relationships and centers of influence to effectuate business growth
• Ensure self-professional development with technical specialization and on-going education
What We Seek:
• Years+ experience required: 3+ years of relevant financial audit service experience in a CPA firm, a professional services firm, or an audit practice
• Education required: Bachelor of Science degree in accounting or a business-related field
• Certifications: CPA license or eligible to sit for CPA exam
• Previous work experience developing and executing audit strategies for manufacturing, distributors, and large corporate and multi-national clients
• Previous experience in dealing with a broad spectrum of companies from start-ups to multi-national companies
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, US GAAS, IAS, and PCAOB standards
• Proficient with use of Microsoft Office Suite applications
• Working knowledge of ProSystem Engagement and other audit-related software programs
• Demonstrated success developing and sustaining strong client relationships
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to travel to client locations as needed

• The salary range for this role takes into account many factors including, but not limited to, years and type of experience, skill sets, and certifications. The projected salary range for this position is $71,000 - $143,000.
