ABOUT THE POSITION:
As an Audit Senior within the Technology & Professional Services Group at Anchin, you will play a crucial role in our organization's assurance services by leading and executing audit engagements within the technology and professional services industries. This position requires an understanding of risks, regulations, and financial reporting standards. In this role, you will work closely with clients, and contribute to the continuous improvement of audit processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and propose solutions to problems on technical issues that arise.
- Ability to think analytically and identify unusual or inconsistent fluctuations.
- Develop and understand clients' business by using effective communication skills.
- Plan and execute audit procedures in accordance with professional standards and firm policies.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and understanding of client needs while addressing client concerns, questions, and providing value-added insights during the audit process.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, accounting regulations, and emerging technologies impacting the technology and professional services clients.
- Apply knowledge of auditing standards and procedures.
- Assess and identify key audit risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and ensure appropriate audit documentation while providing recommendations for improving internal controls and business processes.
- Communicate to the appropriate staff in charge and keep them updated on the progress of accuracy and compliance with auditing standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus.
Experience:
- 2+ years of relevant audit experience, preferably in the technology and professional services industries.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and auditing standards.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Compensation:
- Competitive annual salary in the range of $85,000 - $118,000, based on individual's experience level.
